My story
I'm proud to be joining Team Tommy's in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2027 to support Tommy's and continue their vital work to help make pregnancy and birth safe - for everyone.
Tommy's fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and provide pregnancy health information to parents. They believe it is unacceptable that one in four women lose a baby during pregnancy and birth.
Tommy’s charity means a great deal to me and my family. In 2007, my parents Linda and Maurice, lost my younger sister Jasmine due to an extremely preterm birth. Whilst navigating their grief, my parents would put it down to being “just one of those unfortunate things”. However, nobody should have to experience child loss.
On April 4th, on the annual anniversary of my sister Jasmine’s passing, I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of my sister and to support this vital line of research. I would greatly appreciate any donation, big or small, to support this amazing cause.
