My story
I'm proud to be joining Team Tommy's in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2027 to support Tommy's and continue their vital work to help make pregnancy and birth safe - for everyone. Tommy's fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and provide pregnancy health information to parents.
I am running this in memory of my son Connor who was born sleeping in the very late stages of pregnancy on 7th April 2016 and who would have been 10 years old this year. This came as a complete shock to us as no indications were given in check-ups in the lead up to Connor's due date. Having experienced loss directly and knowing close friends who have gone through the same I support charities such as Tommy's and Sands to help fund their research and try to reduce the risk of other parents having to experience this in the future.
