My story
I'm proud to be joining Team Tommy's again in the London Landmarks Half marathon for 2027!
This will be my third time running and hopefully the one without any issues. My first ended up taking place 8 months after the birth of my gorgeous rainbow baby, Tyler. So training was very limited and ultimately I didn't fuel my body and was thankful for my mum at the end; as without her I'd have passed out through sheer exhaustion. My second took place in April 2023 and due to an unknown stress fracture and continued training...I sadly was declared unfit to continue at 10.5 miles which broke my heart. I sadly had snapped my femur and had to undergo surgery to repair it.
So here I am, taking it on (again) 4 years later....with the stubbornness and determination to cross that finish line. But most importantly to raise money for a truly magnificent charity who have helped me personally and lead vital research and help parents who have suffered from miscarriage and/or still birth pregnancies.
