My story

Two more challenges for a charity that deserves my every step.

These will be my 3rd and 4th challenges for Tommy’s, completed in remembrance of our 3rd and 4th miscarriages and all babies lost too soon. My 5th challenge, for our 5th loss, is still to be decided…

29th March 2026

 I’ll be taking on the Dorset leg of Marathons for Miracles alongside Olly, who is completing an incredible 39 marathons in 39 weeks!  Please check out this mega man at @marathonformiracles and keep track of this challenge - a huge team effort for Tommy's.

12th April 2026

 Just two weeks later, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon as part of Team Tommy’s.

Since trying to conceive in 2018, we’ve experienced five miscarriages, including a round of IVF. We now have the diagnosis of being a Balanced Translocation Chromosome carrier, meaning the odds are stacked against us naturally.

We made the bold decision to take 2025 off from trying and fertility treatment. We needed time to process the years behind us, breathe and reflect on what the future may hold.

This pause has allowed me to rebuild my fitness and create @headfullofjoy, a space to share our story and support others who may be experiencing similar. These challenges have become a meaningful part of my healing, it feels so positive to me to advocate for baby loss and raise awareness.

Tommy’s does incredible work supporting families through some of the most difficult experiences imaginable.
