Team Tommy's Training day is an in-person event in central London exclusively for all the amazing Tommy's runners taking part in LLHM. It's a great oppprtunity to meet the Tommy's team, get some insight into training and join us for a team run in Regent's Park.
Team Tommy's Training Day is a jam-packed morning of fun designed to help you settle into your training ahead of LLHM 2026. Here's some insight into the day:
Arrival and Introductions - 10:00 - Tea, Coffee and Water will be provided. An opportunity to meet the Tommy's team and say hello to other Team Tommy's runners.

Hear from other Tommy's runners - Tips on training, fundraising and hear other Tommy's runners reasons for taking part.
Training run - Walk down to Regents Park for a warm up and training run. We'll split into 3 groups to accommodate for all speeds:
Lunch - A light buffet lunch.
Top training tips with our Tommy's Coach - Want some advice about getting started or want to make sure you're on track. Get some training advice from our Tommy's coach.
Wrap up - Mingling time, chat over some Tea and Coffee and ask any questions.

The nearest Underground tube stations are Warren Street, Great Portland Street and Euston, which are within 5-10 mins walk from the venue

Train:
The venue is a 12-minute walk from Euston Station, which is a major London hub with train services to many UK cities like Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Liverpool, operated by companies including Avanti West Coast, London Northwestern Railway, and London Overground.

Bus: Check out the nearest bus routes here.
Car: There is no dedicated parking at Impact Hub Euston, and there is no public car park at the nearby Euston Station due to construction. The nearest parking options are pay-per-use garages, such as the NCP car park in Brunswick Square or other off-site options in the surrounding area, which can be expensive. It is recommended to use public transport to reach the location instead.
Parking options
NCP Brunswick Square: Located near Euston Station, this car park has hourly and daily rates (e.g., £7.00 for 1 hour, up to £40.00 for 24 hours).
St Pancras station: According to Network Rail, there is an alternative car park at St Pancras station.
On-street parking: Limited on-street parking may be available, but it is often expensive and restricted.
Off-site hotels: Some hotels, like the Premier Inn Euston, have off-site paid parking nearby.

For any runner who may require physical assistance during the event from a care person, please reach out to us when signing up, so that we can ensure access to the event can be provided.
As it is February, wrap up warm. We recommend arriving to the venue 'ready to run', as there are no dedicated changing facilities onsite.

The Training Day venue is a 10 mins walk from Regent’s Park, where the training run will take place. You are most welcome to leave your bag/coat at the event space, as we will be returning there after the run. Tommy’s staff will be onsite all day, however, please note, that all belongings are left at your own risk.
The run will be based on time not distance and will be roughly 25-30 minutes. We will cater for all runner abilities and will split into three groups, each led by a Tommy’s Team Staff member:
Group 1: walk/jog
Group 2: gentle medium paced jog
Group 3: fast group
We want to ensure that this is an inclusive event for all runner levels, so you can choose to join whichever group you’d like and are more comfortable with.
Absolutely! Not everyone wishes to or can take part in the training run on the day. Those who are not able to join the run, are more than welcome to stay at the venue with a few of our lovely Tommy’s staff for a coffee/tea and a chat.
We fully appreciate this is something that a number of runners have requested, however on this occasion, unfortunately we will not be able to provide this option. We may record parts of the training day sessions and if we do, we will share this with our Team Tommy’s runners post-event.
We fully appreciate that taking part in Team Tommy’s training day and attending some of our sessions can be emotionally difficult for some of our supporters. The content on the day is likely to include some sessions including videos, which will touch on personal experiences of baby loss.
We wish to be as protective of everyone’s emotional wellbeing as possible, so if during one of the sessions you feel you would like to step out, or perhaps you feel it would be helpful to speak with one of the Tommy’s staff members, please do not hesitate to do so – we are here for you and will be more than happy to provide support.
Potentially yes to both. Photos and videos may be taken on the day with the intent to use if for Tommy’s marketing and communications. When signing up to the event, you will give consent to be photographed and filmed and for any content to be used for Tommy’s promotional purposes.
We wish to respect any of our runner’ wish for privacy, so if you would prefer not to appear in any photos or videos, please let a Tommy’s staff member know upon arrival at the event.

Unfortunately no. We would love to hold several events across the UK to cater for anyone who are not able to make it to London for this year’s Training Day and we may look into this in future, however currently this is not in the pipeline.
We will be offering a light lunch during the event and will endeavour to cater for all dietary requirements, which have been brought to our attention a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the event date. You can let us know by emailing us on llhm@tommys.org.
If you can no longer attend, please email llhm@tommys.org as soon as possible.
Cancellations made before January 6, 2026 may be eligible for a refund. Refunds for any cancellations made after this date will be at the discretion of Tommy’s. If you have to cancel, Tommy’s may be able to transfer your ticket to another LLHM 2026 registered Tommy’s runner.
If Tommy’s has to cancel or significantly change the event due to unforeseen circumstance, we will contact you promptly and offer either a full refund or a transfer to a rescheduled date.

An optional monetary contribution of 17% of the total ticket cost is automatically added by the Zeffy at checkout. You can change the contribution amount or choose to not make any contribution, before completing your purchase.
Any request for a refund for any optional contribution is only repayable upon request to the Ticketing Provider (Zeffy) within 45 days of the payment. Requests for reimbursement of contributions must be sent by email to contact@zeffy.com
