If you have any specific accessibility needs, please make us aware of ahead of the event by getting in touch with us at llhm@tommys.org and we will be happy to accommodate where we can.
For any runner who may require physical or care assistance during the event, please reach out to us when signing up, so that we can ensure appropriate support and access to the event can be provided.
As it is February, please wrap up warm. We recommend arriving to the venue 'ready to run', as there are no dedicated changing facilities onsite.
We would love it, if you could please wear your Tommy's top. If you haven't ordered it yet, please email llhm@tommys.org and we will help you get this sorted.
The Training Day venue is a 10 mins walk from Regent’s Park, where the training run will take place. You are most welcome to leave your bag/coat at the event space, as we will be returning there after the run. Tommy’s staff will be onsite all day, however, please note, that all belongings are left at your own risk.
The run will be based on time not distance and will be roughly 25-30 minutes. We will cater for all runner abilities and will split into three groups, each led by a Tommy’s Team Staff member:
Group 1: walk/jog
Group 2: gentle medium paced jog
Group 3: fast group
We want to ensure that this is an inclusive event for all runner levels, so you can choose to join whichever group you’d like and are more comfortable with, and you’re welcome to drop out at any time.
Absolutely! Not everyone wishes to or can take part in the training run on the day. Those who are not able to join the run, are more than welcome to stay at the venue with a few of our lovely Tommy’s staff for a coffee/tea and a chat.
We fully appreciate that taking part in Team Tommy’s training day and attending some of our sessions can be emotionally difficult for some of our supporters. The content on the day is likely to include some sessions, including videos, which will touch on personal experiences of baby loss.
We wish to be as protective of everyone’s emotional wellbeing as possible, so if during one of the sessions you feel you would like to step out, or perhaps you feel it would be helpful to speak with one of the Tommy’s staff members, please do not hesitate to do so – we are here for you and will be more than happy to provide support.
There will be photography and filming on the day for Tommy’s marketing and promotional purposes.
If you would prefer not to appear in any photos or videos, please just let a Tommy’s staff member know upon arrival at the event.
Further information can be found in our Terms & Conditions
Unfortunately, we don’t currently have the capacity to hold several Training Day events across the UK. We are hoping to grow the Training Day offer in the future to make it more accessible for Tommy’s runners who are based across the UK, who find it difficult to make a London based event.
We will be offering a light lunch during the event. Please bring any dietary requirements you may have to our attention a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the event date, and we will endeavour to cater. Please let us know by emailing us on llhm@tommys.org.
If you can no longer attend, please email llhm@tommys.org as soon as possible.
Cancellations made before January 6, 2026 may be eligible for a refund. Refunds for any cancellations made after this date will be at the discretion of Tommy’s. If you have to cancel, Tommy’s may be able to transfer your ticket to another LLHM 2026 registered Tommy’s runner.
If Tommy’s has to cancel or significantly change the event due to unforeseen circumstance, we will contact you promptly and offer either a full refund or the option to transfer to a rescheduled date.
Further information can be found in our Terms & Conditions
